I love such little stories, they show the way of Jubei in a very interesting way.

I'm curious, I'm catching some vibes of Shaman King and Dororo. It's still hard to get used to this kind of animation after a great movie that was released 10 years earlier...

Great ending. Jubei is definitely a crash, although he is incredibly successful, of course.

The film was more dramatic and interesting for me, but this story is not bad either. The interesting character design and the constant movement in the plot catch the eye. I didn't have enough character development, and the Virgin of Light turned out to be kind of flat for me. I would rate it 6.5/10
