A young team of barristers, bright, talented, well-trained and ambitious, under the caring but also ruthless care of a senior clerk, smart, tough, calculating and cynical, fighting for their share in the criminal justice business in Leeds.

A good plot and script. A meaningful and dynamic story about the intense life of a novice law firm and members of its outstanding team, about their difficult professional and personal relationships. A fairly fresh and realistic look at trial lawyers, who are depicted not as ideal functions, but as ordinary employees, their uniform simply includes a robe and wig, high-profile cases occur at work, and mistakes are not only annoying for self-esteem, but can also turn into human tragedies. However, they are alive, moreover, they are very young people and cannot always bother with responsibility, duty or the triumph of justice. The characters are adventurous, hot and energetic, in a hurry to live and strive to achieve more.

The cases are interesting and varied, interesting details of the work of the office and clerks, all sorts of legal procedures, many different events inside and outside the office, personal and official problems, collisions and situations. Economically and accurately staged and filmed, light and rather temperamental editing, pleasant, rich and witty dialogues. Excellent cast, they play very well, there are many plausible and not bad characters, including the outstanding image of a gritty and thoughtful senior clerk. It turned out to be quite realistic, without lofty moralizing and other idealism, an everyday production series about barristers, cute and quite fascinating.

Language. They speak well, but it's very, very difficult. Not only is there a lot of legal terminology, slang and all kinds of judicial eloquence, but sometimes they speak so quickly, vividly and densely that it is impossible to understand everything without a "pause" even with subtitles. At least there are almost no difficult accents.
