It's funny how they beat the replacement of a young actress in the role of Claire. But the new one is noticeably older than the previous one. Last season, they said that Claire was 12, and now it's like she's 15 years old.

In the first season, they say that Kady is 5 years old, Claire is 12, and Junior is 16. They say that their parents went through teenage pregnancy at the age of 16. That is, if they got married immediately after the news of Jay's pregnancy, they must have been married for 17 years, at the time of the first season. And they're about 33 years old. In the second season, everything is partly logical - Junior turns 17, Kady turns 6. But Claire jumps in 3 years and she will stop at 15. The actress was replaced and she's older than the first one, but it's still a noticeable blunder. Then Michael goes to the doctor about his back and it turns out that he is 40. That is, Junior, who was born to his wife at the age of 17, should already be 23 (!), and Michael and Jay are married, which turns out to be 24 years old. There is a marriage anniversary, it happens every year. But no anniversary. The episode also reports that they are celebrating 15 years of marriage. And they mention that Jay did get married pregnant. In order for everything to somehow come together, Jay and Michael had to get married when she was already expecting Claire. And that fits with the tension. Or another option - Michael is older than Jay and they had something like a student seducing a schoolgirl. But against this version, a meeting with a former classmate of both is shown in one of the episodes. In short, there are big problems with dates and numbers in this series.

Michael hinted about the fourth child to Jay back in the first season, in my opinion. Plus their young age. If Junior was born at 16-17 years old, 20 years ago, it turns out that the parents are 36-37. It's not too late to have a child yet. And there was a lot to be squeezed out of the situation "Our child is younger than our grandson", in a humorous way. So this move was expected.
But, personally, in my opinion, last season the series began to lower the bar, and this season it frankly sank. Closure in such a situation is not surprising. Therefore, it is a pity that the final was made open. IMHO, for the final episodes, the series about the empty nest from last season would be ideal. And specifically for this episode, I can only say that God's punishment of Tony for pride is perfectly played out. And his hat, like Serdyuchka's, amused him.

In addition to the sometimes overplayed Damon Wayans, this series was carried out by George Gore II (Junior) and Noah Gray-Caby, absolutely charming in the role of Franklin. Even before "Heroes", he had already proved that he was very talented. "My Wife and Children" turned out to be a good show, thanks to the joint efforts. It's nice to see that most of the actors from there are still successful today.

"Our principal was caught with the student's mother. But the director is a woman." "When a man is married to another man, this is true equality." This episode is one of the funniest attempts to bend under the gay community that I've seen.)) No aggression or imposition. The topic from the first years of the mass appearance of the Internet also amused. It's a great series.

Terry Crews is the undisputed jewel of this series. Gorgeous to tears.))
