@Berkana: Oh well? A guarantee of the quality of a book, if only, but not a movie.
In an interview with Esquire magazine in July-August 2008, Stephen King disapproved of the creators of the film "Confrontation":
When ABC took over the film adaptation of my "Confrontation," I immediately realized that I was dealing with stubborn freaks. Their censors knew only two phrases: "it suits us" and "absolutely not."

It's kind of very crumpled up, if I hadn't read the book, I wouldn't have understood and would have been bored.

considering the age of the series, 23 years old for a minute, even now everything looks very decent..the actors make me happy, the cast is well chosen, except Franny, she makes me feel bad, although the actress is good and the character is good too. My favorite characters are Nick and Tom Cullen, but I loved them the most in the book. I'm watching and enjoying it.))
and I'm also thinking how could I miss this series?

I liked the acting. And the atmosphere itself was conveyed very closely to the book, although many points were missed. The kid, for example, was not there at all, but the most colorful character!

But for me, on the contrary, I imagined Franny exactly like this :) the only one who doesn't look like Harold is completely different, there is no inscription on the roof, no admiration for him from Larry, no Payday, they showed him right away categorically bad, but they didn't show him as an intelligent person : (and so much of everything, so much is missing.. but the series is great!
