Overview
The four female leads carry the heart of each story throughout the series, which Posie believes reflects much of the truth of what's happening in Australia.
"The timing was right for this type of show - a rural-based series which showcases a predominately female cast and tells stories that reflect the lives and desires of contemporary Australian women," said Posie.

On the one hand, I understand the scriptwriters. They need to develop a story for everyone (and especially for Tess) and not twist everything around the child. But on the other hand, for the life of me, I don't understand this decision to give away the only thing you have left of your sister under the pretext of 'Let her grow up in the family.' A very controversial point, of course. Especially considering that Charlotte is hardly remembered anymore.
