I really want to compare them with Aoi hana, the girlfriends are similar in appearance and characters, and the graphics modestly try to imitate those pastel colors, but still the essence of the "whisper" is to focus on boys, and not to reveal shojo love.
Here shojo-ai is more open and outspoken, both girls are pouring blood on their "boobs" and crying because of their broken love for another girl, while not forgetting to shine their armor and walk around in swimsuits by the pool. Because of its fanciness and the rarity of the genre, the thing came out very "boring" and "weak". There is no tragedy/ psychology/philosophism based on same-sex love, and for the most part there is no plot development. Against the general background of anime, "whisper" is incredibly weak, but fans of the genre on "fishless" will come in handy. It is clear that AIS tried hard =)

@platina_vi: Thanks for the tip (I'm talking about Aoi Hana)! I totally agree about the fan service, but I liked the series, most likely because of the positive impressions of the manga (by the way, I learned about the film adaptation from the author's afterword in one of the volumes). They shouldn't have made the anime before the mangaka finished his work! So much has been missed-the events, the characters, even the ending... Fortunately, the manga has been fully translated.
By the way, the OST is simply gorgeous, especially the opening.
