The plot is about an environmental disaster, scientists, mutating species (tragedy/philosophism) – everything is as I like it. The characters also came out with character, they want to sympathize, they can be understood. And there's some kind of mermaid there – it's a sight * Oh*
One of the disadvantages is the format. 4 OVAs of 30 minutes is only two hours, that's how a feature film would be made, it would look like a Hollywood movie and I wouldn't worry too much, but because it's divided into episodes, there's a sense of a series, which is why you expect more and more continuation, some kind of further development. As a result, there is only an understatement. Well, it's not so scary, what they managed to say is also not bad, but it's even very curious and suitable =Z
The plot tries to show that Zorndike is not so simple and not a trivial villain. The question now is how the viewer will perceive the final philosophical dialogue with Zorndike.
I liked the idea, but it won't be enough :) But it didn't drag on into a boring serial transfusion from empty to empty, which is also good.
