The series attracted reviews that highly praised the series as the most accurate adaptation of the novel - the result is a very boring waste of time (two and a half hours), poor acting, and strange plot changes in the novel. Due to the fact that for the most part the series follows the path of the novel, it becomes overly "dry" and boring.
