In the end, Reilly was sitting so menacingly with an unloaded revolver on the table)))

In general, the "Lockhart conspiracy" was, of course, a disaster, since it was conducted by the CHEKA from the very beginning.

Well, in 1906, there had been no "Narodnaya Volya" for 25 years...

@porco: Night attack of destroyers on February 8-9, 1904
At about 22:30 on February 8, 1904, a detachment of 10 Japanese destroyers met with patrolling Russian destroyers near Port Arthur. The Russian ships, having no orders, did not enter the battle. However, as a result of the nervousness caused by this unwelcome encounter for the Japanese, two Japanese destroyers collided and fell behind the rest of the detachment. At approximately 00:28 on February 9, 1904, the first four Japanese destroyers sailed undetected to Port Arthur, and conducted a torpedo attack against the cruiser Pallada (received a torpedo in the middle of the hull) and the battleship Retvizan (the torpedo hit the bow of the ship). The rest of the Japanese destroyers were not so successful, as they arrived late, when the effect of surprise was already lost, and carried out their attacks individually, without any coordination. However, they were able to torpedo the most powerful ship of the Russian squadron, the battleship Tsesarevich. The Japanese destroyer Oboro carried out the last attack around 02:00, however, by this time the squadron was alerted, and searchlights and artillery fire from Russian ships made an accurate torpedo attack from close range impossible.
Despite the ideal conditions for a surprise torpedo attack, the results were relatively modest. Of the sixteen torpedoes fired, all but three either missed their target or did not explode. At the same time, as a result of the attack, two of the strongest ships of the Russian squadron, the battleships Retvizan and Tsesarevich, were disabled for several weeks. The same fate befell the cruiser Pallada.

Mmm, the brutal Bolsheviks are shooting women with a machine gun. In reality, Frida was released a year later under an amnesty, Starzhevskaya was imprisoned for three months, and the rest were acquitted and released immediately.

They were in a hurry about the destroyed squadron, of course, the squadron was still fighting the entire siege.
