On November 17, 2017, one of the most brutal bosses of the Sicilian mafia of the twentieth century, 87-year-old Toto Riina, died on Friday morning in prison from cancer.

Riina, the former leader of the notorious mafia group Cosa Nostra (Our Cause), has been in prison since 1993, where he served 26 life sentences. It is believed that more than 150 murders were committed on his orders.

Riina had kidney cancer, he also suffered from cardiovascular insufficiency and Parkinson's disease and was in a medically induced coma, and his family members received special permission to visit him in the prison ward at a hospital in Parma, northern Italy.

Anyone who likes stories like Once upon a Time in America will love this series. In a nutshell, the series is about life, not about gang warfare.

Probably the best Italian crime series I've watched. (In second place is "Gomorrah"). Besides, the story is absolutely real.

@Pakko: well, for me, this series is as much a masterpiece as the Octopus with Mekele Placedo, the Godfather of Coppola and did not lie around.
