After a couple of minutes of watching, I realized that the voices of the main characters are not just familiar to me, but almost native! I looked, and it is. Genji is Kururugi Suzaku, and his friend is Sakata Gintoki.… I like anime already.
They tell us a piece of Japanese history, on the other side of the palace walls. Genji was a drug addict, and his drugs were women. If something happened to his beloved, then life ended for him... until a new beloved was found. There is sex in almost every episode – quite a "hentai", but still the angles of "eroticism"
are a very beautiful, from an aesthetic point of view, romantic - historical remark. But it seems to me that only women will be able to watch. It's very atmospheric and feminine.
When I watched the first episode, it seemed to me that it was very long and confusing and that the anime would be difficult. But in the end, I watched everything in one day and was satisfied.
The story of Genji reminded me very much of the Confession of an inferior person. The only difference is that Genji is not an alcoholic and lived several hundred years earlier.… He's still a Casanova, but he really loves.
