Overview
High school drop-out, lover of money and women, rude demeanor, and a vulgar mouth; Kuzu Motohito (aka "scum lawyer") will do just about anything if it means he can win in court. When Takeda Masami, a wet-behind-the-ears lawyer (who believes totally in justice) turns up at the office he is paired with Kuzu Motohito. The odd-pair fight court battles and learn about each other, their career and their own personal lives along the way!

But they still have a significant difference in genres: Lawyer Kuzu is still a procedural and a comedy with elements of drama, while Detective Yugami is exactly the opposite - a detective and a drama with elements of comedy. And then what will be closer to whom. Personally, I like Detective Yugami. But it should be noted the good comedy tandem of actors Etsushi Toyokawa and Hideaki Ito: my favorite moment with their performance is episode 3 with 32 minutes (and indeed episode 3 is full of comedy, the best in this regard in the entire drama, as for me).
The only thing that confused both of them was the plot for the second season, when it was never filmed... Well, they weren't the only ones who screwed up like that, so it's okay. Things happen.
In any case, both dramas are worth watching. That's why I recommend them.
