Incredibly depressing so far. The first episodes usually sin against this, it's understandable, but I don't know - maybe it was worth continuing to watch Remington Steele...

It's somewhere between noir and Jean-Claude Van Damme movies. The series is very much a child of its time. After the first episode, I probably won't continue watching. I watched it just for the sake of familiarization before watching the 2025 reboot.
