for some reason, I do not believe that he killed his wife, there was no motive, there was no murder weapon, they came up with a theory out of the blue and the jury found that the husband killed with a pipe to light a fire, there is no evidence of blood on the T-shirt. Plus, the media started talking shit against my husband for ratings, so they fell for it.

As a result, he did not receive the fair trial that he should have initially received. Nor did he receive a fair investigation. Many lied under oath. Many lied before taking the oath. And the prosecutor of the prosecution and his assistant skillfully hid this under phrases/questions/conjectures. The judge was biased. And the jury bought it all.

Trying to prove his innocence in the murder of his own wife, he made a TV series! The result is a powerful real-time story. With a lot of contradictions, confusing events and unsaid facts!

It seems that the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" has turned into "guilty until proven guilty"

The series, of course, makes Michael look like a good person, so I advise you to find some kind of more unbiased podcast (I learned about the case from "here's the deal", but I've been listening to it, on the contrary, they're trying to form some kind of negative opinion about him). Well, the owl version is great.
And the documentary itself is top-notch, I watched all 13 hours with great interest, knowing the outcome. The music is great.
And, of course, it's good that I've watched the series now, otherwise watching it online for 13 years is painful.
Well, I'm still shocked by the prosecution in the first trial, and the 12 jurors who, on such weak evidence, sentenced a man to life without parole.
