I liked the series more than I expected. A simple trick, when animals speak their words instead of people, worked unexpectedly well. They turned out to be very recognizable people. And "talking" animals emphasize the realism and typicality of the characters, their characters, mannerisms, accents, stereotypes, and thoughtful platitudes. A transparent, clever and entertaining allegory. After all, it is much more pleasant and easier to laugh at stupid cats than at yourself. And it will be more difficult for all kinds of advocates of political correctness to formulate their claims, if anything...
In addition, the cartoon itself is very well made, excellent work by artists and excellent plasticine animation from the Aardman company. Together with the wonderful lyrics with witty and ironic, but not malicious mockery, it turned out to be a really funny and quite noteworthy series, funny, entertaining and not only.
Language. They speak in an extremely diverse and not too simple way. There is a complex vocabulary, and all kinds of accents and intonations are the highlight of the series. It's not easy to understand and appreciate everything, even with subtitles.
