Quite a few actors were replaced in season 3. Jan, Kurvus's brother, almost all people, including Vseslav and Milan. The "first" Yana didn't come to me right away, but then she got used to it, and was upset when she was replaced. I got used to this one by the end of the season, the image of Lazar suited her. I think the "first one" didn't agree to shave her head for the role.
It's funny to talk about the budget, but in season 3 it's even lower than in the first two.
Kadaf's creatures weren't anything at all, and they couldn't show the scale of the war, just pathetic raids from 10-12 warriors per battle.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter! I loved that the authors of the series followed the plots of the books in such detail, both in the scenes and in the dialogues. Panov's big fans did this, for which I thank them very much.
The books are full of holes, but I still want to reread them again.

And there is also no normal quality or full TV series on the Internet. There are only 6 episodes out of 8 on YouTube, on the website https://gidfilm.ru/video/878519-Taiynyiy.gorod-3.sezon .8.seriya - the film was badly cut, although the picture is better, but even the last minutes were cut out, in the middle of Yana's words.

Positive: It's good that they took it off. I just wanted to see it. There are a lot of good actors, the main characters are excellent.
Cons: you can see how small the budget is. The knights of the house of Chud look like Chinese copies of Dzhigurda and Gems.

But in general, with pleasure. Nav touches me with his Baltic accent. For some reason, I always saw Sean Connery in the role of Santiago from the time of the Highlander. Dreams, dreams...))

My favorite thing, both in the books and in the series, is the relationship between Santiago and the mercenaries, and Kornilov and his partner. A gentleman's behavior is always endearing.
Santiago was terribly surprised at the very beginning here, such an actor was chosen for the role. However, he's such a nice man that you get into it after a couple of episodes.
Ortega liked it very much, it was a pity, it was not enough.
Priluchny is one of the few young Russian actors now who makes me smile personally. He's not much of an actor, but his goofy charisma also captivates.

It's a pity that we can't see more. I really like to visualize what I read.

I've watched all the seasons. For a person who has read books, it is interesting to visualize everything. Yes, the special effects are certainly not Marvel's level) As always with a small budget, but we took it off. Partly original and sometimes emotional because of the play of our wonderful actors, the story. The most important thing is that the series adheres to the spirit of the books, and this is very important for people like me who have read this series.
