It's funny that the same actor who portrayed Artie in Vault 13 is playing in this episode.. it's funny that the authors of the series decided to just ignore this moment, given the future crossovers with this series :)
It's terribly bombed!!! They have a technogenic world. Cameras should be everywhere. Many residents record their experiments on video. There must be cameras in the same cafe. Or, for example, when the device was used in the laboratory. There should be cameras there too. And the very first meeting with the device? Why wasn't there a car DVR in the police car???
@Nog: We made a mistake with the dog. The dog of Brian, the son of Walter and Susan, burned down with part of the trailer of the Perkins family, while moving into the thick of the forest. Taggart and Cobb said it in plain text (their dialogue in the woods, starting at ~23 minutes), if you don't believe it: "It looks like the dog of the boy in the trailer." The dog that causes accidents and drags sandwiches, which Taggart cannot catch, is called a Scoundrel.
