Father Dowling Mysteries

A good series.
It's an unusual method of investigation, and the plots are interesting.
Sister Steve is just a favorite character on the show.
It's great to lighten your head and just enjoy the detective atmosphere.
It's a pity that we just ended up with some kind of plot break, but it gives us hope that Dowling and Steve will continue to conduct their investigations.

There were times. When rich ladies wore furs in winter and poor ladies wore coats. Now the rich wear coats, and the poor wear down jackets.

Still, it's a warm, lamp-like, kind series. It's clear that the themes here are fashionable in the 1990s, but what a soulfulness.

I watched this series partially as a child, but I forgot what it was called. He was confused in his mind with Chesterton's father Brown.
I found it by accident and am very happy. Especially since the new season of Father Brown has not been released :)
