The whole episode has tears in my eyes, it's impossible to watch calmly.
I really liked the wartime songs in the episode and at the end the sequential display of the faces of all the guests, without words or comments. This has never been done for anyone else..

It is a pity that so little has been said about the Nuremberg trials, I would like to pay more attention to this.

I didn't like the slow pace of the presentation and the abundance of inconsequential accents. It is very noticeable how television has gone far ahead in 40 years. I've watched a lot of similar series, including those not featured on this site. There are many episodes that can be safely skipped due to the overly detailed coverage of secondary battle arenas (Holland or Burma).

For the modern viewer, "The Apocalypse" and "The Great War" will be more spectacular. Even "World War II — day by day" looks much more interesting, despite its fundamentality and volume.

Everything is easy for Stalin - to shoot 50,000 officers.

The story of a woman whose brother saved a German boy is one of the most emotional moments in the series.
