To the Ends of the Earth

Many people seem to be starting to watch this series without any idea of the original source. Me too. Therefore, I must warn you - this is really a series about the sea, but there are no adventures, this is really the 19th century, but not embellished; this work is not at all in a romantic spirit, despite the name. I liked it, and I think it's worth watching The Journey.

I watched this miniseries on DVD as a teenager. I really liked it. A slow and meditative story about the everyday problems of people from different classes in a confined space. I advise everyone to watch it.

Of course, there are too few of them rocking for the sea, but in general the film is very beautiful and correct in terms of sailboats.

A great three-part movie about people at sea.

The story itself is not full of dashing adventures or intense drama. In fact, this is a simple sea voyage through the eyes of one of the passengers, without embellishment and in the realities of that time. Sometimes it's dirty, and sometimes it's unpleasant. But there was a place for romance, tragedy, heroism, and even a little humor.
First of all, fans of Benedict Cumberbatch's acting should like the series, as he is here, as always, at his best.
