Overview

Shinichiro is a student living in what would be a dream come true for most high school boys, but for him is mostly a frustration. A well liked girl in school named Hiromi has lived in his house for a year along with his family. Her father was a close friend of the family, and when he died they immediately took her in. She is popular and well liked, always smiles, is talented in sports- but Shinichiro knows there must be tears inside her. Having an artistic tendency, he makes watercolors of her and thinks about wishing to ease her tears. Yet he cannot bring up the nerve to talk to her even in his own home. She, too, is quiet and withdrawn in their house, quite unlike at school. Shinichiro is also distracted by teasing from his friend Nobuse for watching Hiromi from afar, a curse of bad luck from a strange girl named Noe, and being forced to perform Muhiga dancing. By helping Noe he hopes

Beautiful opening
A catchy drama. I hardly watch romance, but this one got me hooked.
I recommend watching it.

At first, the series seemed terribly boring to me and I didn't really want to empathize with the characters because I didn't feel anything important about them.
But after about the first half, it became interesting to watch and even sad that the series was over.
Well, in general, the dramatic anime of the noughties has a "Penultimate episode Syndrome" (the definition is fictional, but it seems to me that it perfectly describes the situation), i.e. when something happens in the penultimate episode that makes you scream at the screen "don't do that, you'll break my heart" and in the end they still do it anyway. they arrive.
Bottom line: the anime is very good, although the characters are weak, and the chemistry is not always working. And this is a problem, because in order to enjoy it a little, watch 1-2 episodes, you need to master it to the middle, and then it's like an ointment. This can be very critical for anime, especially when the market is full of titles that, although empty, are immediately addictive.
