Basically watchable. The series failed so badly on CBS at the time, it was taken off the air after 5 episodes, the remaining episodes were already shown on other channels six months later, it's a miracle that TV3 voiced it, with such lamp voices, probably then they picked up absolutely everything mystical)
I was also pleasantly surprised by the cast, which featured actors who later became quite successful, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Paul Wesley (who is also Vasilevsky in the credits), Mia Kirshner.
Well, the series has a memorable main musical theme. She even seems to have been nominated for an Emmy at one time.
Of the cons, I note naturally that sabzh stupidly breaks off in mid-sentence and is a rather boring and non-catchy protagonist, Lou Dimon Phillips is generally imho a wooden actor.
P.S. the series has a pilot in the public domain (which is a pretty rare story). The pilot episode is quite different from the final version, in fact, only the sheriff-daughter line was left. If anyone is suddenly interested, then you can score "Unaired pilot Wolf Lake" on YouTube
