Overview
Chaos;Head's story is set in 2009 in Shibuya and is centered around Takumi Nishijō, a high school student at the private Suimei Academy, and the strange and brutal murders that have recently occurred in the Shibuya area, known as the "New Generation" Madness. The story begins on September 28 with Takumi talking to an online friend called Grim. Grim is trying to bring Takumi up to speed about the recent New Generation events since Takumi is not interested in local or international news. A person named Shogun joins the chat room midway through Grim and Takumi's conversation. After Grim leaves the chat room, Shōgun begins to talk. He speaks in a very cryptic and confusing manner, leaving Takumi nervous. He then sends Takumi a barrage of image links, one of which appears to be of a brutal murder of a man being pinned by stakes to a wall.

You claim that there are monsters in the anime and you've seen all 12 episodes. That's just the bad luck, there are no monsters in the anime.
The same applies to getting acquainted, supposedly for a couple of episodes - I can argue with that, but I won't waste time on the schedule of the obvious fact, in this case, the plot of simple TV series, because most of the anime is unable to fall under the interpretation: "I saw two episodes, so I saw everything.",
P.S. Many people may think that I'm just "raping the brain." However, arguing with adequate people is interesting and informative. Delve into the truth, point out mistakes, and notice your own. I am sincerely glad that the people here do not take offense, do not get personal and generally tolerate me, Because I would not like to offend anyone and am always happy to discuss this or that moment in detail. Forgive me, my mischief, stubbornness and tediousness)
For quite a long time, I was tormented by vague doubts, namely: "What genre should this anime belong to?". In terms of atmosphere and narrative, it is similar to Steiner's Gate, so it should be classified as fiction.
The main character is an unsociable otaku living in his own small world with games, action figures and unhealthy diet. However, his hobbies will not become the engine of the plot and the story does not particularly focus on his preferences. Our "sociophobe" is gradually beginning to be surrounded by strange events that defy logical explanation. Murders, memories from nowhere, illusions and unusual behavior of others. This is where the fun begins. Despite the presence of a certain circle of girls, you will not find another "harem". Even if the characters are rather poorly revealed, they fit into the plot and do not flicker in a huge gathering in each episode.
Anime can be entirely called fiction, but the thriller genre is reflected only in urban murders. Mysticism abounds here, and up to episode 10, get ready to sit and ask questions. This is not romance or everyday life, but some kind of absurd dream. All 12 episodes are filled with a handful of events that gradually combine into a single storyline. To fully familiarize yourself with the title, you will not be able to limit yourself to a couple of episodes.
Anime may not claim to be a masterpiece, but you're unlikely to see anything like it now. This is a good average guy, but you should not pass by. If you like fiction combined with mysticism, then this story will not be superfluous in the list of anime you have watched.
The assessment would have been more objective and collected, if not for the "but" in the form of a previous comment. Seriously, before you write a review, CHECK it out.
It took me a long time to decide which genre to put this monster in, but considering that it was from the same opera as Stein's Gate, I traditionally made it fiction.
The main character is a full-on otaku, with rows of beautiful figurines and mountains of empty Coca-Cola bottles on his table (hidden advertising?). But that's it. The otaku topic will not be raised anymore, Oyasha will gradually be surrounded by a variety of girls, and they will all cheerfully go to wet innocent monsters. There's just a hell of a sadness here. Why is there a harem here? Why??
It's not really fiction, just like thriller or mysticism, romance or everyday life. This is nonsense, a set of templates from each genre, and packed smoothly into all 12 episodes. To get acquainted with the title, just watch the first two episodes, then don't waste your time, there's nothing new anyway.
