Shenmue the Animation

I've gone through both parts countless times, both on dreamcast and on my computer. I really love this story and I'm glad that they made an anime based on it, which, judging by the trailers and the pilot, will repeat the games almost frame by frame. That's fine with me.

During tense moments, my hand reached for the gamepad several times with the thought "now the game is about to start, we need to focus" :D

A great episode in which they retold a fairly large excerpt from the first part of the game, changing some points, but without losing key details, and introducing something new. In the original, all these events took 3 hours due to the fact that the developers artificially overestimated the duration. I'm not surprised that it all went under the knife. In anime, you need a faster pace, and the creators did a great job with that.
