It's a pity that it was closed, it was a great series, and the actors are on top.

One of the best TV shows I've seen in the last five years. The dialogues, the plot, the minor investigations, the love lines, and especially the jokes, are all excellent. The actors all play great.
It's a shame that he was underestimated.

A good project that has a great score of 8.4 on imdb. Of course, it's covered up because of the ratings. Even more exciting, I really liked that the series was made with love for the city. I love when they use real places and emphasize it in every possible way. Here is this large California city on the very border with Mexico, San Diego.

If there was a second season, they would go straight and jump in time by a year, Britt gets out of prison, a child, attempts to return to her exes, there is already a new villain who appeared in the last episode, etc. But since the project is closed, they turned left and are still probably chillin in Mexico)
P.s. The last episode is called Hale Mary. This is a rare and spectacular combination in American football, when the losing team makes a desperate, luck-based, insane attempt to win in the last seconds. It sooo rarely works.
And another interesting fact is that actor Donal Logue and the actress who played his sister are brother and sister in real life, and twins.
