Spartacus: House of Ashur

So far, the feelings are ambivalent. Everything seems to be quite watchable, the style of the original Spartacus with nudity and violence is sustained, but somehow it doesn't catch on in terms of drama. Initially, the idea of reviving Ashura looked controversial, it seemed much more appropriate to make a sequel with the surviving Agronomist or about the triumvirate of Crassus, Caesar, Pompey in Rome.

As a result, Ashura was tied to Crassus and Caesar, but the latter were shown only briefly and, apparently, if they are to be introduced further, then as minor episodic characters. According to Caesar, the actor has also been replaced, but at least Crassus, played by Simon Merrels, remains. The dark-skinned gladiator Achillia is also not at all an equivalent replacement for Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus and other slaves. In general, the series is still noticeably weaker than the original, but on the whole the project is worth reviewing, not everything is hopeless and further intrigue may still spin.

Dear kitty cats! I don't believe that Spartacus is coming back, this is my favorite TV series of all these years !
And you always worry when something you love so much is resurrected after a long break, so that it would be worthy, and not as it often happens now.
