Love Is Better the Second Time Around

Another great story from Japan.
The chemistry here is outrageous. Takashi's views are something outside the law. I liked the way the caste was chosen. In my opinion, the adult characters perfectly echo their younger versions.
The plot is not new, but I liked its presentation. It was interesting to watch how the characters actually relive the same situation, but as mature people.
Young Takashi was ready to run away, to prove to his family that he was serious. But Miyata was filled with doubts, and he didn't need much to get scared.
As adults, they are at the same point again: Takashi is ready to tell everyone that he loves Miyata, and Miyata, in turn, is again looking for an excuse to take a step back. Which is exactly what he did, announcing the breakup. From Takashi's look alone at the end of the last episode, it was clear that he was preparing for such a turn of events.
Except they're not kids anymore. Miyata, being a mature man, was able to soberly assess the situation and found the strength to openly enter Takashi's life.
In addition, for Takashi himself, the whole situation in his youth became a great opportunity to live his life, find a business to his liking and have the opportunity to be who he wants to be.
Having become each of them the best version of themselves, now they can really build a trusting and healthy relationship.
Of course, in life such a chance falls one in a million, but their love is really better the second time.

How I love such stories: "we haven't seen each other for 200 years, but we still love each other." It's so unrealistic, but it never gets boring. And all this against the background of dark color correction and serious conversations. And most importantly, no extra grotesque, which puts pressure on the nerves.

I like this drama because the main characters talk to each other in words through their mouths.
Of course, given that Ivanaga is a rich heir, the conflict between fathers and children suggested itself here as the main obstacle between them.
Fortunately, the preview is encouraging.

Did they really talk like adults, it was crazy, it was possible. However, Miyata signed his death sentence anyway, Ivanaga will not get rid of him for the rest of his life now.
The assistant, however, is unlikely to be happy, the guy knows how to defend his own. Honey, she just says things like that to people.
