The insertion at the end of the series with the support service numbers looks especially harsh in this series. Like... to what?) So that these services help people in need the same way they helped the main character in the series?)) Not very motivating…
As for the story itself, the behavior of Mr. Like hello, they're holding you down and they want to hack you with a knife, they got a chance to escape, AND YOU'RE RUNNING A MARATHON BEFORE GOING OUT!!! She even took a freaking bike with her, although she could have run to the neighbors, called the police and immediately put him down.
Then, damn it, she decided to continue living in the same apartment, although before that she said that she was not attached to her at all and was ready to leave at any moment (oh, well, right there, only her life was at stake, not a trip abroad).
She didn't even carry anything for self-defense, knowing that the killer would definitely return. The feeling as if she was doing everything to finally be killed!!!
Her friend, too, in the end, could insist on help, offer to stay with her for a while....
In short, the heroine's behavior is annoying to the point of horror, so it's hard to watch. But still, I'll watch, I wonder how it will end for the maniac.
The judges did not need proof of the adequacy of the maniac in order to release him on bail again and again and let women chop with an axe, but they cannot put him in jail because "insufficient evidence" accumulated for 2 murders and 1 almost murder.
They had everything: dna, a witness, drawings, EVERYTHING. But no one did anything, because one more woman, one less... it doesn't really matter.
But in those countries, the justice system has stepped forward by our time, and in the CIS countries it is at just such a level now. It's horrible.
