Degrassi Junior High

A soulful series that redeems with its atmosphere the naive play of the actors (in fact, ordinary children playing themselves), and other flaws. The thing is not for everyone and, perhaps, a little outdated, but I really enjoyed watching it, I recommend it to sentimental oldies))

The episode is tearfully touching! If only they could show the development of their friendship!

Hilarious episode! And so real!

It's a pity, of course, that the creators decided to replace the characters played by actors from "The Children from Degrassi Street." Nevertheless, it's fun to see how some of the details associated with them have been redesigned. For example, Derek's biological father appears in this episode, played by Dave James, whereas in "Children..." they played brothers.

It's terrible to watch how an adult famous man started courting what he thought was a 16-year-old child (in fact, a 14-year-old), almost raped her, and there were no consequences for him. Only the girl was scolded.
But unfortunately, the most unrealistic thing about it is that he stopped when he heard her real age.
