The episode has a second name - "Miracle Flight" ("Fatal landing")

It's a very cool series, the pilots are heroes

Interestingly, they informed the dispatcher that they would land in Gimli. Why didn't they at least tell them that the plane was going to crash on them? If races are held there, there must surely be some kind of organizers, and not just wild tourists hanging out at a former military airfield.
