This is the dumbest thirty-year-old woman on the island. Nothing prevented her from staying alive and not exposing others. It's like jumping into an embrasure when you could get around the blind spot. Although, all the people of the island are a bit stupid there. They wanted to send 10-year-old girls off the island when they could hide them. And then they chased the little one away because she joined a pirate clan. A little girl, like voluntarily, joined the clan and got a tattoo. Here she is a bastard and a traitor. Of course, it's stupid to find fault with anime, where there are mutants and mutagen fruits, and the world is filled with pirates. But, the jamb of this series is just a log in the eye.
What a fool. I could continue to pay 100k each and hide the children. And what has she achieved? she was killed in front of their eyes, causing trauma for life, and it turns out that she stupidly left them without protection and care.... if she really loved them, she would do everything to live for them, to raise them further
And the rest of the villagers could actually help Belmera financially. Since they're all so friendly and love her girls. And not only in this particular situation, but in principle - so that they do not live half-starved.
A very strong series! Starting the anime, I thought that Nami's theft and her passion for money were something like another comical effect, but that's how it turned out. A cruel childhood and a touching story of love and family values. We definitely have one of our favorite heroines now.
from the first appearance, Nami thought that she was raising money to buy herself out from somewhere, and it turns out that she was raising money to buy out an entire village 🥹 🥹
As a child, Nami could still believe that the pirates would keep their word, but after spending eight years with them, did we get the idea that they would just take her treasures and continue to live happily on the island? Who believes pirates at all, especially such bloodthirsty ones? I wouldn't be surprised if her stash was found and robbed a long time ago. And her sister is also like, "don't get involved, she'll figure it out on her own," but the hell with it! Lufi and co. are obviously her salvation, that's what she should have thought about, and not bend her line with the redemption of the village. And Bellmere is awesome. A very tragic and emotional story, two episodes flew by like a flash.
