The freezer is out of cutlets — the most important ingredient of a krabsburger. Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob are trying to make a cutlet, but they forget what kind of salt is needed. Mr. Krabs decided to look into the formula, but Plankton steals it. Mr. Krabs takes the formula from Plankton and decides to take it to the bank. But after sending the formula, he remembers that he wanted to see the composition with SpongeBob. Mr. Krabs instructs SpongeBob to deliver the formula and gives him the key to the safe with it. SpongeBob takes Patrick for company, because before they get to the safe, they need to make a trip to him. They hit the road, get on the train. But in the carriage they realize that they have lost the key to the safe. In addition to other passengers on the train, Plankton also turns out to be no less interested in stealing the key. Patrick and SpongeBob must find the thief. But who is this thief?
