Why do they constantly come up with even more complicated and confusing lies? They carry the motive of "protecting loved ones" throughout the series, but what exactly are they protecting moms from? Hannah's mom has been threatened more than once through Hannah and Mona herself. It's not the first time he's been in contact with Arya's mom.
