Every time, as now, the smoking community puts a spoke in the wheels of Mulder and Scully, I can't help but wonder - why don't they just get rid of them? So they regularly do all sorts of nasty things to them - they release stupid orders, destroy evidence, slip listening devices, even kidnapped both of them once. Wouldn't it be easier to arrange an "accident" for them, after which no one can prove anything and in which no friends in Congress will help, and continue their insidious plans without the intervention of a curious Mulder? Of course, from the point of view of the real world, you can't just kill the main characters of the series, but from the point of view of the universe of the series, Scully and Mulder cross the road to such people, which is surprising that they are still alive...

@baldarek: Unfortunately, there are a lot of illogicalities like this in the series. I wonder how they manage to find out at least something about aliens so far - if there was basic surveillance and wiretapping, they would not have taken a step without the knowledge of the military. it seems that the smoker and his entire team are just idiots who can only sometimes wake up from sleep and do something to hide their secrets, but if they have already started, they wet everyone around, albeit for no particular reason - that is, the reasons are clearly no more than for the murder of Mulder and Scully

This is definitely the most disgusting episode of all I've watched. It's not like the food, and it's unpleasant to look at. Although the plot is interesting. And Scully and Mulder, as always, got fucked up in the end.

The series is not much different from similar episodes from the viral-bacterial block of the series. But spraying huge pimples is certainly not a pleasant sight)
It was nice to see Big Jim from "Under the Dome", here he is almost twenty years younger, but with the same shiny bald spot :)

@francuaza: Биолог сказал, что эти насекомые служат инкубаторами, как и люди. Насекомое укусило Скалли, и если бы она была заражена, то тоже бы заразилось. А если бы оно заразилось, то в нем образовались бы личинки через 2 часа.

одна из лучших серий, с отличной постановкой и выделяющейся по меркам тв и прежних сезонов, операторской работой. Сценарий тоже немного видоизменяет привычную формулу сериала.
вот только Скалли мне постоянно хотелось сказать "да надень ты уже маску".

неплохйор эпизод, но действия Скалли - полный провал. Агонт ФБР, медик, подозревая эпидемию, приближается к трупу, едва прикрывшись перчатками и маской, когда как остальные ходят в белых костюмах. И лезет еще в пакет с гнойным трупом. Ну вот как??? Было бы логично, если эта дура все-таки заразилась, а потом внезапно нашлось лекарство.

I didn't like the series at all. First of all, she ruined my appetite (yes, I know it's better not to watch this series while eating). Secondly, some kind of complete security file. Grinning, having been in a lot of trouble with contagious diseases without a protective suit, picking at a corpse? Then, knowing how to get infected, hugs a dying doctor? And I also didn't quite get the idea. Why infect the finished one? To what? To see how fast this thing is spreading? It would be fine if drugs were tested on them, but it doesn't look like it. Besides, let's say it's not a pity for the finished ones, but are the prison staff there and the same doctor? In short, some kind of murky plot.
