What an amazing series! With such a setting, a scene became possible where both the killer and the victim know what is going to happen, and are more surprised by the meeting, the circumstances and the fulfilled prophecy than resist it. And suspense, and the theme of death, and Scully's doubts, and the unknown! The atmosphere of a prophetic dream, no other way.

(And you can also make your own TV series based on the character of Mr. Brackman...)

I didn 't understand only at the end who killed the clairvoyant ? Does he turn out to be himself? After all, the killer could not have run to his house and returned.

@id18379359: I understood that he killed himself because the chain was broken. He was supposed to be killed by a maniac, but Scully killed the desk clerk, which means she changed the future. And in order to recover, Mr. Brackman killed himself, because he shouldn't have been alive.
