- I didn't know it was your birthday today - Mulder, in these 4 years, you have never once remembered my birthday - and I celebrate birthdays every 4 years, it's like one year for dogs
A great series. It captures from the first second. It was great to celebrate Scully's birthday :D Delivered, according to tradition, a suitable cliffhanger at the end of the first of the double series. All that was missing was a Smoker, and then he rarely appears lately.
after a series of fairly ordinary (or even a few boring) episodes, this one is really like a birthday present. I take it this is the Max who was kidnapped in the first season? It's strange that Scully and Mulder didn't know about his return. Well, now they have a sister who seems to take after her brother. It was disappointing that that crash-on-the-Ground scientist was only useful here as a bulletproof vest. Secretly, I always hoped that he would become part of the team, or at least an active assistant, like Lone Shooters. but I liked the moment when Mulder dives under water for the first time, walking before that only once took out a coin from the bottom of the pool. a little humor in a tense moment, and that's why we love this series. and the investigator who saw a UFO and found Max's sister, oh, his life will be hard if he is not killed in the next episode. It's still dangerous to deal with Fox and Dana. each new person, whom they even partially let into the secret, causes a little sympathy and concern for his fate.
All these stories about the government sweeping away people in bundles to hide evidence from its projects, and about aliens have long been thoroughly boring. It's sad that the notorious main branch of the series is this, and not, say, a line with some mysterious monster that they can't figure out in any way and study the bits of information that appear from time to time - anything but a boring and outdated topic. Recently, someone wrote in the comments that he does not like the topic of religion and automatically lowers the rating of the series with it, so I also have a song about government conspiracy and kidnappings.
Sorry about Pendrell. It was always amusing how sweetly he caught every glance/word/gesture of Dana and followed her with his eyes after she left, as if he had lost the most valuable thing in life).
I'm not a fan of all these government conspiracies either.. It's all so hazy. I like individual episodes more, just about tribes, religions are more interesting, although I am not a religious person at all
@Underwood: now I would like to complain about the hackneyed and outdated topic, watching a 25-year-old TV series in 2019, which is, in fact, one of the main popularizers of this topic. G - Logic =3
@Hierarch: I said that the theme is annoying in this particular series. And not in the sense that there are a lot of projects with the same plot; it would really be stupid to complain about it.
I didn't understand how they jumped to the conclusion about the 3rd aircraft. Why weren't Mulder and Scully surprised that Max Fenig was alive? They were also told in season 1 that he was dead.
Oh, here the investigator is played by Fornell from NCIS: Special Branch. And even he was very handsome in his youth. By the way, his wife in NCIS was played by an actress who played Melissa, Scully's sister here.
- What's the depth here? - 15-20 meters. Do you have any experience diving to such a depth? - No! - Do you have any diving experience at all? - Yes, once I tried to get a coin from the bottom of the pool.
