It seems to me that the archer was the weakest of them, hoping that he would fly out. Killua is very sorry, I worry that he would not become an antagonist later.

@AvNer: from the series? The task itself - to win without killing the enemy, hints at this. The opponent will either have to be forced to surrender in some way (which Gon did), or very carefully tortured (which the ninja tried to do), or surrender himself and not waste time against a deliberately inconvenient opponent. That is, there should be pure head work, calm and focused. Killua lost at the moment when he realized that he could only kill, and panicked, and not at the moment of the murder itself.

@shei350: there is common sense in this, I will not argue. The rational grain of the exam is cool :) However, I didn't think about the exam as much as I did at the actual clash between the two Zoldikov brothers. To some extent, the emphasis was made and then turned to this, therefore... ahaha
