It's a really cool series. An original idea with these lecture pieces at the beginning and end of each series. I'm watching and looking forward to new episodes.
Great show! A charismatic hero, the most interesting thoughts about the human psyche, about the possibilities and mysteries of our brain. I look at it with great pleasure.
In general, I liked the series and would recommend watching it. Especially for those who like the rest of the series about such antisocial, brilliant, slightly (or completely) sick main characters who save people's lives themselves or are somehow involved in this (on the flip side, the same Dr. House, the same Black Box, which was already written above, and all other similar series) BUT, two things upset you, which you better know before watching the series, in order to know what to expect and / or what not to expect from the series. 1. The series often follows the same pattern and it seems like it may not be a minus, but on the other hand, the series somehow rarely surprises with something and you know approximately how everything will happen in the series. it is clear that not ALL series ALWAYS follow this pattern, but still quite often (at least for as long as I remember, because I am writing this comment several years after I watched the first series, and I looked at the last one a month or two ago) it looks something like this : They show a lecture that is SUDDENLY directly related to the topic of the investigation that he will be offered almost immediately after the couple. As always, Dr. Pierce (during the lecture) will be a little more than completely adequate, cheerful, with a sense of humor and all that, but after a couple of frames (somewhere already on the street \ at home \ in the station), he will traditionally mutter to himself, hate and feel sorry for himself, behave in a society is not adequate and everything else.
@FRFD: I think this is just a kind of feature of this series. It is precisely with the inserts from the lectures and these hallucination characters that he differs from the rest. At least I can't equate it with any of the usual series I've seen before. Dr. Pierce is an interesting character in his own right. By the way, I didn't notice a feeling of self-pity behind him. Each episode is a separate story. By the way, I want to note that an interesting story in terms of the fact that it is not always possible to predict who will turn out to be a criminal in the end. All these details with which he solves crimes, his ways of interacting with criminals accused of a crime or witnesses who suffer from some kind of mental disorders... all this is quite interesting and diverse. Maybe the scheme of the series itself (solving the crime) is the same, but in terms of meaning, you can see a huge variety of ways and methods of solving it. So I don't consider this a minus of the series. And, if we compare, the series scheme in Dr. House (most other medical or detective series) is more predictable, but the series does not get worse from this.
@Inside-of-myself: Oh, you've already unsubscribed here. well, you'll understand the main answer where to read it, then I'll just add that nuuuuk daaaaa, the series doesn't get any WORSE from this, but predictability is not a plus.
Then he has hallucination characters that help him pay attention to the right detail in time or help him get to the bottom of some truth, he makes a couple of mistakes, then the hallucination characters lead him back to the right conclusion and voila - the matter is solved. Under the finale, Pierce at the next lecture gives out some sound teaching or an encouraging monologue or something in the style of Stenovsky "today We understood a lot ..." (Stan from South Park) to sad music and with regard to the theme of the series and then the credits go. Again, this may not be a disadvantage per se, but it still makes the series predictable. well, or yes, you can call it a feature of the series. It won't make the predictability any less anyway. Although, of course, there were also series that were out of the general scheme. 2 The series finale. Here it is clear that I will be completely without spoilers, I will only say that with such a colorful main character, it would be possible to come up with a finale and at times cooler than making an almost ordinary series. After all, we have a hero who suffers from hallucinations..it would be possible to make up for this and wind it up for the final, but alas and ah .. it was practically not used in any way.
In general, the series leaves a pleasant impression, I have never regretted that I watched it all this time and waited with breaks. I liked the characters, I liked the investigations, everything is fine. generally. but still not without flaws. Have a nice viewing to everyone
Watching the series has been in the plans for a long time. He is currently appearing on TV3 under the name "Neurodetective". There has never been anything like this on my way, so the series immediately captivated with its originality and characters. I think it will be more interesting next.
from the very beginning it was clear that the maid was Alina)) but the rest of the details are confused Of course, she's ugly, this Alina... Cheekbones of the ppts. but Polina is a beauty
I watched the pilot and it feels like I've seen it somewhere before. But despite this, it will be interesting to follow the character and his investigations.
yellin, I feel for me it will be like with a "Mentalist" - I watched 10-15 minutes from the episodes - "Well, what kind of a burden is that?" but now, with nothing to watch, you watch one episode of figs you know from which season from beginning to end and "FAK! WHERE CAN I WATCH IT ONLINE?! ONLINE COMPLETELY!!!", followed by "A dream? No, I haven't heard." - and the cat has already been sucked into the vacuum cleaner xD
Yes, this is just a bouquet of my favorite detectives! The main character: - Henry Morgan's style of dress ("Eternity"). - Peculiar investigative techniques like Dr. Lightaman's ("Deceive Me"). - The excitement of the investigation like Sherlock Holmes ("Elementary" and the canon itself). - The comfort of the plot as with Patrick Jane ("The Mentalist").
It reminds me of House, the Theory of Lies, Sherlock and others like them (fortunately, I didn't watch everything produced) + To think like a criminal and others like us. The hero, apparently, has schizophrenia + autism, which is funny, I hope it is, it would be interesting. The FBI agent looks like a schoolgirl, which makes it somewhat difficult to take her seriously. Leviki is lovely, I already like it. And the blonde (wife? A girlfriend? a dead wife?) -- I thought she wasn't real either. In general, it is simple, but moderately interesting. Let's see how it goes.
I accidentally came across a video about this series in tiktok and it really hooked me. I was surprised that I hadn't come across it before, there was a time when I watched a lot of something like this and this series was released just at that time. The first episode just went in, which is what I personally need at the moment. The blonde was considered a psychologist at first, but after hallucinating with a man, the thought flashed that she might be too, turned out to be right.
