I liked this adaptation!
Mostly, perhaps, because of the actor playing Light. Kubota is extraordinary, and you really care about him. You see, from what a human guy he turned into an obsessive monster.

A C-plus dorama, no more. The trick with Nia's split personality is still not clear to me. Or the episode when Light lured the criminal into the bus, and he just shot himself in the stomach. We wanted to do something original, but it turned out...Well, as always it turned out, yes. Even the fanservice glow of the tummy about and without eventually began to irritate the eyes. And by the way, Misa wanted to prescribe a brick twice as often as usual, but these are small things. The acting was pleasant, especially Light, the guy managed to convey the difference between Light and Kira well. Ryuk also has a separate fat plus sign, he's a miracle.

The norm. I was terrified of the first episode. My inner oldfag screamed, "nikanooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo", but in the end it didn't turn out as bad as it could have been.

I do not know, I probably already got caught up in HD Before the dramas (I watched quite a few of them, and then the movies) scared me, since there was practically no acting. (especially films based on the death note). Here. But I really liked this series. The plot details were slightly changed, but it was interesting to watch and there should be differences from the canon)) I also really liked the acting, especially Laita. Emotions and his transformation into a monster were beautifully conveyed. I'm happy with everything, I'll even put 5.

I kept waiting for L to be left alive, since they moved away from the original anyway... I didn't wait.. it's a shame (this version was annoying for the first couple of episodes, but then my love for the character won anyway, both actors coped with a bang (and Papa Light played even better than them), it would even be possible to put 5 instead of 4 if not for the primitive graphics of shinigami and the terrible acting of several minor characters (

It's funny to see the same god models from the 2006 films right down to the textures already in 2015. The series just screams with its whole appearance about super budget, and disregard for the original source. Half of the characters are not used at all, they stand somewhere in the background, Light is a complete sucker, a fan of Misa, but when she comes to him, he doesn't care about her, because the ideas for turning the plot are over, let's put the phone in chips in 2015 and somehow finish it as soon as possible and cheaper.

Ryuk upset the most, they made some kind of clown out of him. Light is acting like a dumb kid. Ram generally behaves completely indifferently. L is too emotional and pretentious. Why Light's mother was killed in the beginning is not clear at all. Some believe that there are very few differences from the original source. I believe that only the title and the names of the characters remain from the original source, everything else has been changed... one "plus": at least the actors played normally, and not the way the Japanese usually play.

The very case when a dorama with a low rating was liked more than a high one 😁
Since I don't remember the original story at all, I have nothing to complain about. 🤭
Japanese doramas have a special charm, different from Korean ones, for a change I decided to watch several doramas and one of them is just the Death Note, I was very pleased with watching❤️
P.S. from Japanese I also watched "The Kiss that Kills", "Alice in the Borderland" and "The Time when I was" - these three too liked it🙌
