I looked at it and didn't regret it for a second. I experienced great pleasure from the game of Barshak and Emashov. It's easy for me to imagine them as both negative and positive characters, a very successful type of men)))
As for GG: in movies, the images of scoundrels are often romanticized, some evoke sympathy, compassion (such charming assholes). But Smolin's actions are so stunningly vicious that despite the external attractiveness and the persistent feeling that the actor himself is a very good person, his character did not arouse any humane feelings in me. With each new tragedy caused by Smolin, I wanted more and more to see him shot like a rabid dog. From this dissonance of a pleasant face and disgusting actions that the actor so plausibly managed to show us, I just cringed throughout the series. For example, if Smolina played Domogarov, then 100% that I would just sit and stupidly hate him, I would not have any emotional shocks, my soul would not hurt. Watching the series would have been on the principle of "one asshole plays another asshole" But here... Therefore, thanks to those who selected actors for the roles of GG - it was just super.

It was a great series, it was very tough. I don't feel sorry for Smolin at all, he chose his own fate. Round in a heart. The second season is very different from the first, if you suddenly don't want a strong character change, it's better to stop here
