I guess it's because he's afraid she'll find out about him before he tells her. Plus, he needs to play the role of ”villain E” (I don't think he's really on the team and trying to do bad things to the girls, because he wants to do it himself). Well, you need to give the audience a little bit of fear. So that everyone would think that he is a villain 🦹♂️

Everyone is suspicious, everyone has their own secrets, and not the most pleasant ones. But I like Hannah's grandmother. Cool)

I've never had any sympathy for Byron. He behaves so grown-up and omniscient, and he himself could not cope with the blackmail of a teenage girl.

What Toby is doing is not clear at all. Either he is undercover in Gang A, or he is being blackmailed, or he has some kind of benefit of his own. You can guess endlessly. As well as over who is on the A team

Meredith turned her father against Aria even more. How could he treat her like that?? Does his daughter mean nothing to him at all? There's probably only room left in his world for shl*hi Meredith! Honestly, thanks A lot for teaching her a lesson.

For me, he is one of the unpleasant characters at the moment. He cheated on his ”beloved” wife. He forced his daughter to hide her secret. Terrorized Aria and Ezra, trying to separate them (and how was his situation with Meredith different from theirs?). After the divorce, he got back together with the one he said was a ”mistake.” And he wants his daughter to be nice to his girlfriend.
The most unpleasant character for me.

What pisses me off is that they put a bolt on some Persians, and then they abruptly return them
The same Lucas played a bigger role in the first two seasons than he does now
He flashes here and there,
as well as Ren and the guy who helped Arya with the cover (and I liked him so much) - they just disappeared somewhere
I take it Ellie blackmailed Byron after she and Arya shot him for cheating?

And I also wonder what role Jenna plays in all this

Regarding Toby: Most likely, his behavior is justified by the fact that he joined the ranks of ”A” not so long ago. Mona once offered Spencer to join, so anyone, roughly speaking, can do it. Plus, of course, the screenwriters are trying to mislead the viewer, so that everyone would think that he is a villain. I think so.

Hannah's grandmother and mother are cool, I love such characters -they are a mountain for their daughter and granddaughter.
Byron is of course terribly unpleasant, it's not even surprising that Alison blackmailed him, he's worth it.
