Spongebob receives an invitation to Karate Island to become the "King of Karate". Sandy decides to go to the island with him. They are met on the spot by the owner of the island named Udon, who invites Bob to sit on the throne. When SpongeBob sits on the throne, he is captured. It turns out that the owners of the island are scammers. Sandy is simply banished from the palace. But she does not give up and, for the sake of saving her friend, defeats Udon himself in a duel and frees SpongeBob. When they leave the island, Squidward arrives there to become the King of the Clarinets.
