I haven't watched it yet, but without a doubt, the show from the "Must-watch!" category
has already been added to the "I will watch" list

Firstly, this is the brainchild of Louis C.K. - he is the creator, screenwriter and director
And secondly, a brilliant cast - Louis C.K., Steve Buscemi, Eddie Falco, Alan Alda, Jessica Lang. All the actors are great and very much loved.

I don't know what everyone's expectations were, but it's a great show. A solid serious performance. Or maybe I'm just old.

The cutest thing. At first I thought that Louis was continuing the plotless tradition and we were moving from nowhere → to nowhere, but it turned out to be even cooler and I'm already thinking: "Wow, Louis took a swing at high drama." I haven't read many plays, but the tempo and mood are very reminiscent of Chekhov. It seems that the series claims to be a modern encyclopedia of American life, and judging by the dialogues it has every right to do so.

Gorgeous. The characters are a sight to behold. Acting works - you can't get enough of it. Dialogues (I don't know about the voiceover, I watched it in the original with the credits) are pure joy for fans of "verbiage", to which I belong. In the first episode, they very, very competently "hung up the guns" in their places, now let's see where they will shoot. I cross my fingers so that it doesn't get boring anymore..

I haven't watched this before. A very entertaining form of TV performance. Indeed, it was as if I sat for an hour in the stalls of the theater in the best seats, saw the game of amazing actors. Alda is beautiful, and so are the others. Watching with subtitles in the original is the best option in this case.

Buscemi and Alda are incredible. The dialogues somewhat resembled the "Quartet And" in their course of development, the interest of thoughts and the comedy of observations, only hundreds of times more dramatic, closer precisely to the theatrical genre, and not to the genre of stand-up. C.K. did an amazing job, and if before the intermission the whole action is just accelerating and honestly, it looked a little boring in places, then after that it remains only to sit admiringly and absorb everything that is happening like a sponge. Well, laugh. There are a lot of funny things, especially in the second half.

A TV series is a play or a performance series, or maybe the life of a megalopolis....as a performance...
a must-see for everyone and especially for those. who runs and runs somewhere and for those who don't have time to stop and have a cup of coffee at the bar!

Атмосферно, волнующе, затягивает, и смешно и грустно, веришь каждому персонажу, актеры знатные и играют убедительно (и Луис здесь раскрылся по-новому, и Бушеми и Фалько бесподобны, да и остальной антураж великолепен)
К просмотру обязательно!!!
п.с. После просмотра ощущение, как после хорошей книги! Да и концовка шикарна! Очень круто всё! Очень удачный проект от Луиса Си Кея, даже не жалко, что он в этом году не выпустил новый сезон "Луи", а потратился на этот проект! Молодец! Ура!

п.п.с. еще рекомендую к просмотру его новый проект - Baskets (Луис сценарист (один из), гл. роль играет Зак Галифианакис, выпускает тот же канал FX (что выпускает и Louie), ещё бы порекомендовал сериал Legit, тоже бомба, но увы, закрыли уже.

Ох, шикарно просто шикарно. Я не оценила шоу Луи, но этот проект Си Кея очень нравится.
Бушеми просто красавчик, прям открылся для меня с новой стороны. Алда - космос, Лэнг - звезда.

Я нашла только один минус. Около 35 минуты монолог Курта немного переигранный. В остальном - шик.

Я люблю сериалы, построенные на диалогах, которые затрагивают простые темы и раскрывают эмоции персонажей, их внутренние драмы. Поэтому для меня такой формат идеален.

Отличный сериал! Чтоб понять, нужно быть самому немного чокнутым. Ну это ничего) Мы все такие. Стараемся спрятаться от реальности. Спасибо за отличный театр!
