The dramatic arches of the Gintami are Dramatic. With a capital letter. Laughing through tears and all that. Sad, cruel and reassuring.
Great. There are no words.

After recent events and the "survivor" Shoya, there was a strong feeling that Takasugi and Gintoki would also unite, like Shisingumi and Joey. in general, I was a little disappointed with this turn. if in the end it turns out that Shoya was building evil out of himself in order to save /unite the students, then it's generally sad. But even so, the last two arches are 10 out of 10

I never would have thought that watching the arches about the Shogun and Shinsengumi would bring so much emotion and moral devastation. So many events have happened, so many twists and turns, and you're already starting to doubt "were there any comedy series, I didn't dream?". As always, gintama shows us that characters are not born "antagonists" and characters who have been repelled for seasons eventually become the cause of your tears. In these arches, we also saw that people are fighting for one thing - for freedom and for the opportunity to protect those who are dear, and misunderstandings arise because of the methods of such a struggle. Most of the characters have shown themselves to be true samurai, you are amazed at their strength of will, desire to live and save your comrades.
