Интересно, роман настолько же плох, как сценарий сериала? Мне нравятся актёры и визуальный ряд, но персонажи никак не развиваются и сами по себе очень плоские. Росс ведёт себя, как полный идиот, и ему всё сходит с рук. Джордж напару с дядей ну такие злодейские злодеи, куда бежать. Дел у них других нет, как полунищего Полдарка под монастырь подвести. Учитывая, что это явное подражание литературе 19 века, то подражание слабое, потому что в оригинальных произведениях того времени характеры намного глубже, а их поведение намного логичнее. Да и сюжеты поинтереснее.
Ну что за дела: приходить к человеку в комнату и там все забрызгивать мозгами. Фрэнсис вообще молодец: самовыпилился, оставив жену в долгах и на милость Джорджа. Я понимаю, почему он так поступил, это было даже ожидаемо, но лучше этим он сделал только себе.
Серия, в общем-то, понравилась и Росса я по-прежнему люблю, но блин, по-моему, он ведет себя как самоуверенный идиот! и я говорю даже не о том, что он не принял помощь Джорджа (это он правильно сделал), но он мог бы подумать о своей жене и хоть какие-то усилия приложить к тому, чтоб его не осудили! что будет с Демельзой, когда его повесят??? чувство такое, что ему на всё и на всех пофиг, кроме своей фамильной гордости! И Фрэнсис. Блин. Только персонаж начал хоть немного симпатизировать и тут такое... Жаль, что не хватило ему силы духа принять последствия своих поступков и попытаться их исправить
Ну по поводу стребовать со вдовы - не знаю... она же ему нравится, вроде как. Мне кажется, он наоборот воспользуется ситуацией, подмаслит ее, задобрит и женится
