I remember the first episodes were shown on TV in the evening, and then some bastard moved it to the broadcast grid at two in the morning. It was terrible, because tomorrow I had to go to school... But I couldn't stop looking. I went to bed, set the alarm, woke up, looked-looked-looked, mercilessly sticking. But it was still cool! And then I also went to the "Humpback" to extract the rest of the seasons... Eh, there was a time without the Internet!))) And I also remember that the entire first season was shown in Volodarsky's translation. And I fell in love with him so much that I later got used to the polyphonic dubbing sooo hard. Oh, nostalgia... ^_^ Especially the dialogues caught on. They are simply amazing in this series: deep, philosophical... It's very... ahem... a smart series, if you can even apply such an epithet to the series. I even still remember some quotes by heart: "When both parents die in a child, he is called an orphan. When a husband loses his wife, he is called a widower. But why is there no name for parents who have lost a child? What is the name of a mother mourning her son? What is the name of a father who has lost his daughter?.. You know, it's probably so damn awful to lose your child that it's just impossible to come up with a name for it."
In general, this is a very cool series. I've never seen anything better. 10+ out of 10.
@xanti: about a month ago, I collected and posted 1-2 seasons in the same voice acting by Leonid Volodarsky of the early 2000s on the cinema and the rutracker, if anyone wants to be nostalgic. ;)
How does the actor playing David look like Jeff from The Community! At first I even thought that this was him. And how, after watching Dexter, would you perceive Michael S. Hall differently??
@television: I support it, it looks very easy. And against the background of all the Netflix and Amazons, everything that is there, I still don't want to break away from it. They don't take it off like that anymore👍
Inserts advertising all sorts of funerary nonsense are as creepy as possible ...))) I also like their surreal inserts about what could have happened, almost happened in my head) The father, of course, went too far, introducing such a little boy to the family business of the A very important and correct thought in the end is how important it is to live your feelings, and not hide them and hide from them. Overall, the series is average, sometimes boring, sometimes funny, but perhaps I'll continue for now. I hope it will be great.
It's very messy, and that's why I don't understand how it relates to the episode. The characters are all equally colorful, but at the same time equally faceless for me so far. Dave and his cop boyfriend have excellent chemistry in the frame, the actors play extremely organically. Sometimes the tempo gets off and it gets sad, but there are moments that catch on: everyone's family quirks, the conflict of brothers and the division of responsibility, how each of them perceives grief and how it manifests itself. It makes you look further. Inserts with advertisements and other follies are also not bad, and I love this, it's just that somehow it's not always on time, even considering the format of the series.
Z.Y. Frances Conroy is the goddess of disco, I love her no matter how much.
"That's what I'm most proud of. The husband, who was fired, came home from work, shot his wife in the head at point-blank range, then shot himself. And look at my work, huh! Like newlyweds on top of a wedding cake! And then they were cremated. What a pointless job."
Corpses. the ghost of the father. black bald mustachioed cop))) Dexter is gay) offtop. Filmmakers like to show the legs of corpses. I can't stand it) I fucking broke my whole brain - where I saw the prodigal son. on kinopoisk, his list is almost without my ratings. I didn't see him that way. And Garrett Dillahunt! Deadwood Army of the Dead and a bunch of other projects.

You had a cool childhood. 🔥
I watched Lost in about the same way 📺
