@shiroisasori: It's been three days and I'm already catching myself thinking that I don't mind revisiting everything. If this is not an indicator of quality, then I do not know what.
The second season definitely should be. There are so many things that we didn't have time to tell, show and explain. I'm looking forward to the series fire And of course: patience, patience to everyone until the new season. And pis
Great first season, watched in one go. I grew up on the Simpsons, on great humor, cynicism and irony, and when I saw this new series from the creators of the Simpsons, it couldn't help but intrigue me. It won't be news if I say that I need a new season urgently!
@IronFOX: The name of the show is a play on words: The disappointment you're talking about is disappointment. And the title of the series does not mean unsatisfied expectations, but the end of the charm effect
Well, you can't end up like this... I am glad that the series has an end-to-end plot, unlike the Simpsons, I watched all the episodes almost at once, which rarely happens. The standby mode for the second half of the season is on...
This is the moment when you really regret that Netflix releases all the episodes in one day. The series is just great! I didn't even expect him to be so funny) The demon will definitely become my favorite character
Fillers? I don't know where you saw them, but as for me, each episode of this season introduced us to the characters more closely, so that we could get into them and understand some of their decisions. And the plot progressed the same way from series to series continuously. He did not start until the end of the season, but slowly did it all 10 episodes. If they had shown us this series right after the first one, believe me, there would have been a lot more questions, despite the fact that even now they have left us a lot of them.
I was not disappointed by the disappointment. We are waiting for the second batch of episodes next year 🖤
@Kyzyuavka: as for me, all the episodes before the final were on 10/10. They developed the characters, introduced us to the backstory, showed us the universe and at the same time gave out small one-part arcs. But I didn't really like the episode with Maman.
I wouldn't say that the cartoon is a brain explosion, but after watching the first season, a great mood remains for a long time. and they stirred up the cliffhanger, which is necessary. intriguing, as it should be, and not annoying, as usual
A charming cartoon! The first 3 episodes were held, although with interest, in general, it was not so annoying, but it was impossible to come off further. Just as I sensed that Dagmar would turn out to be muddy. She's cool, but I love Zog more <3 I don't know why, but he got into my soul xD Eh, a lot of questions were left on Part 2, where did Dagmar and Tiabini sail? Who is Elfo's mother? Why did the ball hit Bean with lightning, and the most interesting thing is that Lucik understood what was going on, so he flew far into the past... I like drawing and I like music, the characters are moderately funny, moderately dramatic, in general everything is cool-naruto.
@alexander444: and it seems to me that it just has something to do with the magical abilities of mom and Bean herself. Mom said that Bean will have to learn something about herself and her hands with age.
All those big eyes and profiles misled me, a cross-cutting plot, a fucking cross-cutting plot! And I was also rooting for the main knight, he was the only normal one in this farce, eh. Pancake. Fucking good.
initially, the series seemed somehow meaningless, but the last 2 episodes made me really change my mind. now they will look forward to the next season, because they still know how to intrigue. someone wrote above that the ending is obvious. yes, it is possible, but personally I have absolutely no idea how the series will turn out next. Will Elfo ever rise again and will Mom die again?
Wow, what a cliff they've stirred up, but it's like a Game of Thrones here. The season has turned out well. The music on the screensaver is especially catchy.
the other advantages are indicated above. A bright series, much better than the current Simpsons, which have sunk to the bottom.
@marine_hurts: I just imagined the situation)) the dining room. everyone is eating peacefully. and then the girl at the table by the window starts yelling. Everything is fine. and only friends nod understandingly and explain to the incomprehensible, smiling condescendingly: I remembered the Dreamland police)))
It's a great season! Great cartoon! I watched the Simpsons and Futurama all my life only in separate pieces, and it was always good. But it's just a miracle!
I was really sad about Elfo, I was even afraid that they had killed him for good. And even the king felt sorry for him - he does not know how to choose women, that's right)))
The first post about the scene after the credits - do not ignore it!!!!
Of the queens, I definitely like Una more now, she looks so much like Martisha Adams, but not a villain. The demonic "cat" is the best, he's almost as cool as Bender.
Very very high-quality work. The cartoon is great and it seemed to me that it is more adult (serious) than previous works, and considering that Futurama was not at all childish, then ... the presence of a common plot outline is pleasing. Of the minuses, minor characters are not allowed to turn around - a copy of Sepp was quickly turned into a pig, one-eyed was given out in doses, Una is also seen only in plot-forming series. Although these are not even minuses, but just quibbles.. I hope they will continue in the same spirit.
Oh, pity the King and Bean. Bean had just found a loved one, a lost mother, and she turned out to be a villain.
I've been waiting for a "Disappointment" for a year or more. And it didn't disappoint me! I didn't expect plot arches for several episodes here, I thought there would be almost none like in Futurama, so I was happy to watch the measured series at the beginning, where what I expected happened: a light black comedy in a fantasy setting with interesting characters, references, a pinch of acute socialism and unobtrusive philosophy. I also liked the series with the development of the plot. I watched the whole season in one go. I've already become attached to the characters and I even want to review them. In my opinion, the series turned out to be very good and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the sequel
Now, maybe I'll say the obvious thing, but Dagmar did to Dreamland what the Maru kingdom once did to its snake-eating neighbors: she turned all the inhabitants into statues. I specially reviewed a piece of episode 8. Cremora is a kingdom with snakes, lost in the desert. The Maru are their neighbors with the mice. That's how the sinister exorcist tells it: Maru was flooded with a potion in the city. And the king of Cremora, just like Bean's father, needed an immortality potion to resurrect his subjects who had been turned into statues! Then an invisible assassin appears and claims to serve Emperor Maru. And before that, as far as I remember, we were shown that the assassin was sent by people watching Bean and Dreamland through magic fire. And something tells me, the potion, probably that Dagmar is from the kingdom of Maru! Or connected to them. By the way, Bean's father said that she was from a faraway country when he met her. Maru, judging by what they showed us, is something like Persia from the real world: peacocks, heat and all that. The climate is very different from Dreamland, so Maru is very likely to be the most distant country. Perhaps Dagmar took Bean there in the end.
Initially, I was annoyed by the main character, then I got used to it and it became easier to watch) I'm more interested in minor characters, but they are very little developed and shown (
The series turned out to be very slow. The ending still drew at least some interest. I hope more money will be thrown in next season so that both the plot and the animation are somehow more lively.
It's a good season, most of the episodes are great. I am definitely waiting for the second one, because there is so much left unsaid. I am glad that it turned out to be not flat, not just funny, but meaningful and touching on important topics.
Luci is the smartest character of all.I wonder where these dudes who were always looking into the ball went, like the main villains? We will be waiting for season 2
It's not enough for me, I want more! How would you like to wait for the second season ... the cartoon is just wonderful, and you can scare, and there are deep thoughts and the plot has appeared, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. And I am 99% sure that the mother is the witch who has been trying to destroy Dreamland all season, well, or is definitely connected with her.
The credits rolled, and I had a feeling that at the end they should say something about Elfo, after all :) The series turned out great - that's for sure. Well, the statues from the tomb in series 8, as if hinting ... :)
so I watched such a Disappointment and sat down and thought, like, "whoa, what kind of wonderful new endless world has opened up in front of me??" I wonder if Matt Groening has always been able to do this, then why didn't he create something like this before?
@TK96: Well, I wouldn't say that. Bender's game is very good. But we haven't seen the second season yet. Judging by the fact that the plot has already been launched, there should be a minimum of passing episodes. In theory...
I feel very sorry for Elfo. At first I thought it was Lila that turned people to stone , but it turned out to be Dogma. The ending is interesting. I will be waiting for new episodes)
I'm looking forward to the series fire

- One, two, three... Beer!
Great season! Great cartoon! Ten out of ten!

Apparently she was forbidden to look at the past, her mother was preparing escape routes.
Pancake.
Fucking good.

Has anyone figured out what time they are in?
According to one of the series, they are in the future and even later than Futurama...
