I didn't quite get it. She killed her son, but she was not only not imprisoned, but left to teach other children. So everyone should know that her psyche has gone, but after the stabbing she is simply allowed to go home to rest. 🗿

The whole episode (even after the raft twist) was frozen out by how amazingly stuffy this teacher's aunt is. I don't feel sorry for her, unlike the students :(
