it started out well, then everything turned uninteresting

A good series that does not badly reveal the whole essence of the army and politics in Africa. The ending is good, though predictable. One stupid minus, this is the drain of a blind man, it is very striking.

A rather banal plot or just the fact that I literally read a book the day before, where a woman's husband dies in a plane crash, and later it turns out that he is safely alive. In any case, it was nice to see Kate Beckinsale in the series, and, to my taste, she suited the role of Georgia perfectly, however, I would like the creators to put more emphasis on the heroine's military past - in fact, this moment was reflected only at the very beginning (the third episode, it seems).
Otherwise, the denouement turned out to be quite predictable, but it was nice, firstly, to look at the views of Wales and the Congo, and secondly, to see that the main character received the long-awaited closure. To be honest, if I were her, I would have sent Judith's henchmen to her husband, but for Georgia it was still illogical.
In general, the finale left a pleasant impression of the completeness of the picture, although at times everything was too mawkish and happy-ending, but I was pleased that she and her husband did not get along, as well as the fact that Georgia finally let go of the past and moved on.

I only watched it for Kate Beckinsale. She played the drama of a suffering wife well and how disappointed she was when she found who she had been living with for the last 3 years.... sometimes boring, but not disgusting. A good series, for one time and one season - it's quite very watchable!
