Title: Seishun Buta Yaro wa Yumemiru Shojo no Yume o Minai Movie
Based on the materials of the 6th and 7th light novels from the series of light novels by Seishun But Yarou, written by Kamoshida Hajime and illustrated by Mizoguchi Keiji.
Great. Both the series and the feature film. I decided only because of the rating. The title and poster (of the series at least) did not particularly attract me (like many others, apparently).
According to the idea, it really looks like Gataries. Yes, and parallels between the characters can be drawn in principle. At least between some of them. To be honest, I thought I wouldn't like it and postponed watching it for a long time, but when I started, I somehow got involved. Although I would still like to see a couple more moments. The first is how Kaede will "normally" go to school and how she will develop a relationship with her classmates. And secondly, I would REALLY like to see what Sakuta and Mai will become in the future. How they will actually get married, what kind of children they will have, and so on.
It's just a concentrate of tears, the purest tears, even cooler than in the series. An excellent representative of a high-quality dramatic slice, where tears are not for the sake of tears. I would like a second season, of course.
I did not understand the ending, if Shoko finished her homework, then it turns out that she no longer has a teenage syndrome, the future was canceled, as then gg got into the same school with May, because he went there only because of the adult Shoko.
This film is much more emotional and cooler than the serial one. By the way, by chance, I watched it first. So, I reviewed it in one breath, despite the fact that I was not familiar with the characters, I sobbed like a fool, and I was happy too. The characters are just brilliant and their actions and feelings really touch the heart. In addition, the drawing is good, the plot is interesting. The intrigue, the sequence, everything is perfect!
I live for one person, if he needs me, then let the whole world hate me. (c)
A few days ago, my heart was destroyed and I still can't get together. Despite the excellent ending, the whole middle of the film tore me apart and thinking about the characters, I constantly see May in a pool of blood in front of my eyes... I cried like a little girl and I still feel that sense of loss and emptiness.
I'm new to anime and it's all new to me. I didn't expect that at 27 something would be able to affect me so much.
I really liked how the relationship and all the experiences associated with it were shown in it. May is not an infuriating and blushing girl for no reason, she reacts normally to jokes and successfully jokes back with a moderately strict character. Their flirting is awkward at times, but that only makes it more beautiful and realistic.
I was very hooked by the story of my sister and how it turned out that Sakuta was not saving her, but she was trying to save him. You understand and see all these psychological problems, although they are presented a little through fiction, but this does not make it worse. Putting all these moments together, this story feels so real that when it ends, you lose a piece of yourself.
Of course, it would be the height of idiocy if Mai died and GG married Shoko out of pity… And again, in the film they revealed the main characters and their interactions to a lesser extent, and again the story of another heroine.. Therefore, the film was watched again not with tears, but in disbelief (although I cry constantly over touching films), what the hell was that?
GG's behavior is just the height of illogic, sacrificing himself, his beloved girlfriend for the sake of another, like he didn't figure out who he loved there, it was terribly infuriating 😓
But I just wanted at least romance in the film, they only upset me even more…
I hate endings like this, where everything is good and everyone survives. The authors are obviously not aware that the CHOICE implies the loss of one thing, you can't get away with it in the end. It's all a snotty and pink world. We leaked a good movie with a vanilla happy ending.
But if Sakuta's name was Lad, then with Shoko they would have everything in chocolate (fut-ha!)
